At PetTimely, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. We are committed to transparency and giving you control over your data.
When you create an account, we may collect your email address, display name (optional), and profile avatar (optional).
You provide pet profiles, reminders, health records, wellness journal entries, photos, and veterinarian details.
If you use Nearby Services, we process location data needed to find nearby providers and save selected providers.
If Family Sharing is enabled, we process family membership roles (including temporary Pet Sitter access), invite codes, access durations, and shared task activity.
User ID — A unique account identifier assigned by Supabase when you create an account, used to link your data across all app features. Device ID — A device-level identifier collected by RevenueCat to manage your subscription entitlements and restore purchases across devices.
Subscription and transaction data including your plan type (Solo or Family), trial status, renewal dates, and cancellation history, managed through RevenueCat and Apple.
App preferences, device push notification tokens, feature usage and interaction patterns, and deletion audit logs for service operation and compliance.
Crash reports and error logs collected to identify and fix technical issues. Diagnostic data is not linked to your personal identity.

PetTimely stores data locally on your device for responsiveness and also syncs data to secure cloud infrastructure hosted through Supabase on AWS for cross-device access, backup, and family collaboration.
Pet photos, wellness journal photos, and account avatars are stored in private cloud storage with signed, time-limited access links.
Authentication is handled through Apple Sign-In, email authentication, and Supabase. Session tokens are stored in iOS Keychain rather than general app storage.
Your data is shared with invited family members based on role permissions. Family owners can grant permanent member access or temporary Pet Sitter access that auto-expires.
We use trusted providers including Supabase (database, authentication, and storage), Apple Sign-In, Google Places API (when you use Nearby Services), Apple Push Notification service (APNs) for reminder and nag notifications, and RevenueCat (subscription management, purchase history, and entitlement tracking).
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share your pet data with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing partners.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of PetTimely, our users, or others.
In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data would be transferred under the same privacy protections.

PetTimely uses Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) to deliver reminder and nag notifications. Your device's push notification token is stored on our servers to route notifications to your device. Notification content is generated on our server and delivered via APNs. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.
PetTimely is designed for users 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at support@pettimely.com.
Active account data is retained while your account is active. Deleted pets and reminders are soft-deleted and purged after 90 days. If you delete your account, personal data is permanently erased from our systems within 30 days of account deletion, and authentication records are removed within 24 hours.
Local app data is cleared when you sign out or uninstall the app. Limited deletion and compliance records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
Your data may be stored and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data regardless of location.
If applicable in your jurisdiction, you have the right to: access your data (view all data in the app or export a copy), delete your data (use 'Delete My Account' in Settings), data portability (export in machine-readable format), right to be informed (this privacy policy), right to rectification (edit your data anytime), and right to withdraw consent (revoke optional permissions via iOS Settings or in-app controls).
