Your Right to Delete Your Data
We believe you should have complete control over your data. You can delete your PetTimely account and all associated data at any time from the app settings. This page explains the process and what to expect.
Once you delete your account, all your data will be permanently removed from active PetTimely systems as the deletion process completes. This includes:
This action cannot be undone. Save any information you want to keep before deleting your account.
In the app, navigate to the account deletion option:
1. Open PetTimely app
2. Go to Settings
3. Scroll to the account actions area
4. Tap Delete My Account
You will be asked to confirm in two prompts:
1. Confirm you want to delete your account and all data
2. Confirm again on the final prompt to proceed
3. The app submits your deletion request immediately
After confirmation, account access is removed and deletion is processed server-side.
Immediately: Your account is signed out and marked for permanent deletion
Within 24 hours: Authentication records are removed
After processing: Personal data is permanently erased from active systems
Deleted pets/reminders may remain in soft-delete state briefly before final purge windows complete.
We retain only what is necessary for compliance, security, and fraud prevention.

If billing is your concern, you can cancel in Apple Subscriptions without deleting your account data.
Simply stop using the app. Your data will remain safe and accessible if you decide to return.
If privacy is a concern, you can remove specific family members from your group without deleting your account.
